Porus® One is used for the kidneys of your cat
Porus® One contains a substance called Renaltec®. It works by binding to uraemic precursors that are produced by bacteria in the intestine of cats. Normally uraemic precursors are absorbed by the intestines and are broken down in the liver to form uraemic toxins (such as indoxyl sulfate and para-cresyl sulfate). Uraemic toxins are then eliminated by the kidneys. In chronic kidney disease, the removal of uraemic toxins from the blood is impaired, resulting in the accumulation of these toxins.

Porus® One binds to the precursors of uraemic toxins in the cat intestine so that they cannot be absorbed or enter the blood stream. The precursors are instead eliminated
via the faeces. Binding of these precursors reduces the build up of damaging toxins in the blood which results from impaired kidney function in cats.

Feeding Instructions:

The recommended dosage of Porus® One is 1 sachet (500 mg) daily per cat.
Simply open the sachet at the top, sprinkle directly over your cat's food, and mix it in.
It is recommended that Porus® One is administered at least two hours following any oral medication that your cat may be receiving.
Ensure that your cat always has access to fresh water
