Direa Crospovidone Tablets (1000mg/tablet)

Mavlab Direa tablets are an effective dog diarrhea treatment option that can be used as an aid in the management of diarrhoea caused by disorders of osmosis, secretion, permeability, or motility brought about by infectious agents, food poisoning, dietary changes, and bacterial overgrowth. 

Direa tablets contain a complexing or bulking agent called crospovidone that absorbs toxins and water from the gut to form a protective gel, thus slowing and reducing the severity of the diarrhoea.

Direa is not a motility modulator. It is a complexing agent that absorbs toxins but also absorbs water to form a gel. Direa tablets can be used alone or in conjunction with antibiotics and fluid and electrolyte therapy. 

Crospovidone is not absorbed through the gut wall and is chemically and biologically inert.
