Thornit Ear Powder is excellent for cleaning pet's ears and helping with any itchy or irritation problems. It is based around the famous historical formula devised by Mr. Watchman just before the era of antibiotics.

In both cases of irritation and itchiness, there can be red sores, inflammation and blood clots caused by constant scratching. Customers report that many pets do not like to have drops in their ears and many customers report that their pets love the gentleness of Thornit.

The base of Thornit is lodoform. This is what gives it a slightly yellow color and also a medical smell. lodoform can stain light flooring or light coloured materials - be careful not to spill it.

Instructions - Ears - Use Twice Per Day For 5 Days

Any excess moisture can be gently mopped up with a cotton wool swab. DO NOT REMOVE WAX. Under normal circumstances, powder should not be into the ear hole, but brown wax acts as a cork. Never put anything (such as a cotton bud) into your pets ear hole.

Apply using a small make-up blusher brush or artist brush. Pour some Thornit Powder into the lid, dip the brush into this and then apply directly to the itchy areas.

Application should continue for 3-5 days. When the brown wax starts to move, stop treating. This means the wax will go away, pushing out the powder and leaving a clean ear.

A brush of Thornit in each ear, once a week, should keep your pet free from irritation.

This method can also be used for ears, paws, under tail, and any other part of the body with itching, please turn over to see about those irritations.

Bottom itching

If your pet pulls its bottom on the floor and it is not gland trouble (which is really smelly!), then Thornit may help with irritation and itchiness.

Treatment - Dip brush into Thornit powder. apply to just under tail where necessary.

Itchy Paws

Irritation and itchiness can get between the claws and can result in your pet constantly licking at their paws. Your pet may even tear out the fur, and finally nibble until there are open sores.

Treatment - dip brush into Thornit powder, Work powder between claws, into pads and a little way up the leg
